That is exactly what the first amendment was written for. The entire point was to say the governemnt can not tell you that you have no right to state your thoughts and opinion.

Further the second amendment was written specifically to allow the american people to fight any oppressive governemtn. it is not about hunting or even self defense. it is specifically written to tell the american people they can fight and overthrow the american governemtn if it becomes oppressive such as it is now.
